IBM Order Management System Consultant - 3 to 6 years Experience Key Responsibilities • Design, configure, and implement IBM Sterling OMS solutions based on business requirements • Develop and customize order management workflows, business rules, and integrations • Work on order lifecycle management including order capture, inventory visibility, fulfillment,and returns • Integrate IBM OMS with upstream/downstream systems (ERP, POS, warehouse management,payment gateways) • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to order processing and systemperformance • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure solution quality • Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment guides • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practicesRequired Skills • 3-6 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management (OMS) • Strong understanding of order lifecycle, inventory management, and fulfillment processes • Experience with Java, J2EE, XML, XSLT, and Web Services (REST/SOAP) • Familiarity with OMS configuration tools, business rule engines, and workflow customization • Experience integrating OMS with third-party systems (ERP, WMS, POS) • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases • Good understanding of retail/e-commerce order management processes • Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or supply chain domains
