Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Specialist - General Ledger based in Chennai Location. What a typical day looks like: 1 • Analyze Various nature of accounts in the GL Module 2. Review and prepare various entries in GL Module (Amortizations, Accruals, Allocations etc.) 3. Review Reconciliation of Sub-module vs Trial balance 4. Review, Reconcile and Resolve Intercompany Variances 5. Extract Reports from the Reporting tool to perform reporting commentary/analysis 6. Prepare schedules to Balance Sheet as per GAAP Requirements 7. Support various audits in providing transaction analysis, reconciliation for timely completion 8. Support Corporate Accounting & Tax team for timely completion of statutory filings 9. Collaborate with various internal teams to follow-up and close GL Module in ERP 10. Willingness to work in complex environment with strict deadlines on projects 11. Exposure to various financials automation/data projects will be an edge over others The experience we’re looking to add to our team: • M Com / MBA(Finance) / CMA (Intermediate) / ACA (Intermediate) • Deeper understanding of various Accounting Standards (US/IFRS/Ind AS) • Basic understanding of various audits/taxes applicable • Good written/oral communication skills in English • Exposure to preparation of presentations to management • Good analytical skills and should be a team player • Flexible to work in shifts What you’ll receive for the great work you provide: • Health Insurance • PTO CF17 Job Category Finance Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex pays for all costs associated with the application, interview or offer process, a candidate will not be asked for any payment related to these costs.
