Designing and drafting of jigs and fixture & process sheet making for optics-stagewise Need to understand optics background & designing of jigs & fixtures Understanding of customer drawing & its fabrication process & he needs to do stage wise process sheet Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for components, assemblies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling as per project requirements Coordinate with production, R&D, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability Modify and update existing drawings based on process improvements, customer requirements, and engineering changes Maintain proper documentation and revision control of all engineering drawings and design records Support optics assembly and fabrication teams by providing technical clarification related to drawings and tolerances Ensure compliance with GD&T standards, drafting standards, and company design procedures Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation of newly designed jigs and fixtures Conduct dimensional and tolerance analysis to improve precision and process efficiency Assist in vendor development and coordinate with suppliers for fabrication of designed parts and fixtures Work on continuous improvement initiatives for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement Exposure to CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solid Edge & SolidWorks Key Skills & Competencies: Good knowledge in MS Office and advanced excel Good communication skills Strong analytical and reporting skills Knowledge of AutoCAD & Solid Edge
