The Shift Supervisor will support shift-based production operations of Optics The role requires strong understanding of optics processes, production tracking, data collection and analysis Shift Coordination - Execute daily production tasks across polishing, grinding, cementing, and painting as per shift plan Operator Management - Supervise assigned operators, ensuring adherence to quality standards and work instructions In-process Checks - Ensure regular inspection of workpieces for scratches, edge finish, flatness, and other critical specs Tool & Machine Readiness - Verify machine cleanliness, tool availability, and safe working conditions before shift starts Process logging - Maintain production logbooks, part movement records, and rejection reports Safety & Cleanliness - Enforce safety norms and maintain shop floor hygiene Key Skills & Competencies: Problem solving and decision making Good in MS Office Time management and productivity focus Ability to work independently and in a team Good communication skills Strong analytical and reporting skills
