About Hike Cinema Hike Cinema is a core product offering an uninterrupted vertical swipe experience for short-form video content. We're innovating in content delivery, personalization, and user engagement, leveraging cutting-edge AI and ML. What You'll Do ● Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Android applications for Hike Cinema. ● Lead the implementation of new features, ensuring robust, clean, and maintainable code. ● Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define and deliver innovative user experiences. ● Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and stability. ● Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and architectural discussions. ● Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and best practices. What We're Looking For ● 6-9 years of professional experience in Android application development. ● Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java. ● Deep understanding of Android SDK, different Android versions, and device fragmentation. ● Experience with architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and dependency injection frameworks (Dagger Hilt, Koin). ● Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, material design, and responsive layouts. ● Proficiency with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integrating with backend services. ● Experience with performance optimization, memory management, and debugging. ● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile development methodologies. ● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ● A passion for building engaging user experiences and working in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Bonus Points ● Experience with video streaming, media playback, or short-form content platforms. ● Familiarity with AI/ML integration on mobile. ● Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
