Key Responsibilities Design and set up experiments Test vapor pressures Measure solubility Prepare samples Conduct physical testing Documentation of experiments Actively participate in safety program Prototyping Innovation HSE Review and Pre-Start Up Safety Review Documentation Control Lean & Six-Sigma Initiatives Plant Troubleshooting Process Technology Understanding Plant Book and Plant Monitoring Standard Operating Sheet & Standard Operating Procedure Generation JOB ACTIVITIES YOU MUST HAVE Associate Degree in Scientific Major (Diploma in Chemical Engineering) 3+ Years of Relevant Experience (Pilot Plant Handling & Troubleshooting) WE VALUE Basic arithmetic skills, plus scientific notation, exponents, fractions, and decimals Working knowledge of MS Office Able to lift, handle, and dispense 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums Occasional lifting and manipulation of bags, samples, and other objects up to 50 pounds may be required Handling of chemicals and other hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals is required Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills Working safely at all times Flexibility to work in an R&D facility Creative problem solving
