Honeywell is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer II to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and Java , experience with cloud technologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products that support Honeywell's digital transformation initiatives. As a Software Engr II here at Honeywell, you will design, develop, and maintain software applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely project completion. Impact innovative solutions driving efficiency and productivity.You will report directly to our Manager and you’ll work out of our Bangalore, Karnataka location on a Hybrid work schedule. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Python and Java . Build scalable APIs, microservices, and backend systems. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement technical solutions. Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Develop automated unit, integration, and performance tests. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers when required.
