Collected role description

Strong file/data migration engineering •   Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Microsoft 365 certification preferred •   PowerShell proficiency is good to have Discovery, design, and migration of enterprise file shares from legacy file servers to OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Azure Files. Responsible for file server assessment, target-state design, wave-based migration execution, governance compliance, user adoption, and legacy server decommissioning. Key Responsibilities •   Execute file/data migration runs using approved tooling (ShareGate, Quest, AvePoint, Azure File Sync, Robocopy) per the wave plan. •   Perform NTFS permission analysis and apply the approved remapping design during migration. •   Run data validation, checksum and reconciliation checks post-migration and report discrepancies. •   Provision and structure SharePoint Online/OneDrive sites per the architecture design. •   Support cutover and post-migration issue triage for assigned waves. •   Maintain migration run logs and status reporting for the workstream lead. •   Lead governance-first migration activities, validation, and gated decommissioning of legacy servers. •   Develop end-user communications, training materials, and adoption support plans. •   Provide user support during migration and post-migration stabilization. Required Experience •   Hands-on migration tooling: ShareGate, Quest, AvePoint, Azure File Sync, Robocopy. •   PowerShell scripting for batch migration, validation and reconciliation. •   NTFS permissions/ACL analysis and remediation. •   SharePoint Online / OneDrive provisioning and site structuring. •   Azure Storage (Files/Blob) configuration.
