Infrastructure Monitoring: <ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal">Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure monitoring solutions using various tools (e.g., Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Solarwinds, Motadata etc.)</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Collect, analyse, and visualize data from infrastructure components (servers, networks, databases, applications, etc.). </li> <li class="MsoNormal">Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts for proactive identification of issues. </li> <li class="MsoNormal">Conduct regular server capacity planning and utilisation reviews, ensuring scalability and performance.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Collaborate with IT operations and application teams to define and refine monitoring thresholds and escalation protocols.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Analyse trends and historical data to forecast infrastructure needs and prevent potential outages.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Document monitoring configurations, SOPs, and incident response procedures.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Support audit and compliance requirements by maintaining accurate monitoring logs and reports.</li> </ul> Observability: <ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal">Understand and apply observability principles (logs, metrics, traces) to gain insights into system behaviour. </li> <li class="MsoNormal">Implement and maintain observability tools and pipelines. </li> <li class="MsoNormal">Use observability data to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability. </li> <li class="MsoNormal">Expertise in Log analytics tools like Kibana & Elastic search etc.</li> </ul> Required Skills and Qualifications: <ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal">Proven experience in infrastructure monitoring within a large-scale IT environment.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Proficiency in various monitoring, observability & log analytics tools (e.g., Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Solarwinds, Motadata, Kibana, Elastic Search etc.). </li> <li class="MsoNormal">Experience with infrastructure components (servers, networks, databases, applications). </li> <li class="MsoNormal">Familiarity with NSE LAMA framework.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Strong understanding of server architecture, virtualisation, and cloud infrastructure.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Experience in capacity planning, performance tuning, and availability management.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Familiarity with ITIL practices, especially around incident and availability management.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Experience with automation and scripting for monitoring tasks</li> </ul>
