Purpose of the Role"Responsible for executing supplier quality strategies, conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on supplier validation, feasibility checks, First Article Inspections (FAI), and quality control processes to meet business objectives related to cost, quality, and delivery. This role collaborates closely with supply chain, operations, and new product development teams to ensure supplier capabilities align with business requirements and industry standards."Responsibilities & Accountabilities<ul><li>Achieve critical quality metrics to meet profitability and customer satisfaction targets.</li><li>Assist in implementing structured supplier quality frameworks to enhance business competitiveness and sustainability.</li><li>Ensure the maintenance of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) within acceptable target limits.</li><li>Optimize cost efficiency through proactive supplier quality assurance activities.</li><li>Conduct supplier validation audits, feasibility checks, and capability assessments.</li><li>Support the Lead SQA and operations team in defining process parameters and quality standards.</li><li>Assist Lead SQA and SCM in supplier approval processes by evaluating supplier competencies and minimizing risks.</li><li>Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for supplier quality issues through onsite supplier visits.</li><li>Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) in all executed activities.</li><li>Establish agreements on inspection standards between the organization and suppliers.</li><li>Execute functional testing and facilitate testing setups at supplier locations.</li><li>Prepare supplier inspection reports and ensure adherence to defined quality specifications and standards</li><li>Execute First Article Inspection (FAI) to verify the quality of the first batch of supplies.</li><li>Analyze supplier quality data to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.</li><li>Implement and leverage advanced technologies and tools for supplier and raw material quality measurement.</li> </ul>
