IT Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Expert to manage and enhance our IT infrastructure, security, and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system administration, network security, cloud technologies, and IT support to ensure seamless operations for our R&D teams. Manage and enhance IT infrastructure, network security, cloud environments, and support seamless operations for R&D teams. ### IT Infrastructure & System Administration - **Server Administration:** Manage, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers and workstations. - **Network Architecture:** Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of network and system architecture. - **Disaster Recovery:** Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for business continuity. ### Security & Compliance - **Perimeter Defense:** Monitor and manage network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection. - **Audits & Standards:** Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with AS9100D, ISO, and enterprise standards. - **Access Management:** Implement and manage Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions. ### Cloud & Virtualization - **Cloud Optimization:** Manage and optimize AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments. - **Virtualization Platforms:** Oversee virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) for scalability and cost efficiency. - **DevOps Support:** Support cloud migration strategies and automated DevOps practices. ### IT Support & Automation - **Employee Support:** Provide technical support to employees for software, hardware, and network-related issues. - **Asset Management:** Manage IT asset inventory and procurement of hardware and software licenses. - **Process Automation:** Automate IT processes using PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting. ### Collaboration & Software Support - **CI/CD Integration:** Work closely with R&D teams to ensure IT systems support software deployment and CI/CD pipelines. - **Toolchain Administration:** Administer and manage tools like SVN, JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. - **Database Optimization:** Optimize database performance across MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MSSQL. ### Education & Professional Experience - **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - **Experience:** 7 to 12 years of experience in IT administration, infrastructure management, and cloud technologies. ### Core Technical Capabilities - **Server Administration:** Strong expertise in Windows and Linux server administration. - **Network Security:** Practical experience with firewall management, network security, and VPN configurations. - **Cloud Platforms:** Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments. - **Scripting & Automation:** Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation. - **Troubleshooting:** Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. - **ITSM Tools:** Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Freshservice. - **AI/ML Infrastructure:** Understanding of AI/ML compute infrastructure support for development teams.
