Job Summary Seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in SAP Datasphere and SAP BW Core to design develop and optimize advanced data warehousing and analytical solutions in complex enterprise environments Job Description Design develop and implement scalable data warehousing solutions using SAP Datasphere Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate SAP Datasphere with existing SAP BW Core systems Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient data models and workflows Optimize data processing and transformation for improved performance and efficiency Maintain and enhance data pipelines to ensure data quality and consistency Stay updated with the latest SAP Datasphere features and industry best practices Provide technical expertise and support during deployment and postimplementation phases Leverage technologies such as SAP HANA 20 XSA Native HANA Snowflake Tableau and related tools Support the full software development lifecycle including data modeling development testing CICD deployment hypercare and production support Ensure best practices in performance tuning security and solution quality Utilize SQL Script stored procedures table functions calculation views and data modeling for robust solutions Apply model optimization PlanViz and performance tuning techniques Work with SDA SDI SLT Gitbased development practices and SAP Web IDE Understand XSA and database security concepts including roles and privileges Experience with Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban Exposure to Nodejs JavaScript SAP BWBW4HANA ABAP SAP ECC Tableau and complex data migration projects is a plus AI agentic development experience Claude Code Windsurf Cursor Codex is advantageous Roles and Responsibilities Lead the development and configuration of SAP Datasphere components aligned with business requirements Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and system performance Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations Mentor junior team members on SAP Datasphere and SAP BW Core technologies Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies Participate in code reviews testing and documentation to maintain highquality deliverables Drive continuous improvement initiatives within SAP BW Core and Datasphere environments Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment Promote best practices in data modeling development and deployment processes
