Role: AS400 Developer Experience :5-8 Years Location:PAN India Shift :2pm IST to 11pm IST Primary Skill : Provide technical support and maintenance for AS400 systems ensuring high availability and performance Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AS400 RPG RPGILE CL400 CLLE and DB2 Good knowledge of AS400 interactive debug and batch debug Good to have Insurance Domain knowledge Good handson experience in writing SQL queries on DB2 Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations Collaborate with different teams to support application deployments and updates Familiarity with modern RPG techniques including Embedded SQL Knowledge of AS400 operations such as backup and recovery procedures job scheduling and performance tuning Knowledge of AS400 security and compliance standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Document and maintain technical procedures and support guides Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and patches Technical Skills Secondary Nice to have NOT MANDATORY Reinsurance domain knowledge Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies Identifies manages and escalates issues and risks as appropriate Good written and oral communication skills an ability to present concise reports and recommendations Soft Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment Proven leadership skills to guide and support the development team Strong organizational and time management skills
