Job Title:QE Automation Engineer Location : Banglore Experience:5 to 8 Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated QE Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Playwright to design develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for web applications The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving test coverage accelerating release cycles and ensuring highquality software delivery through automation best practices Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python and Playwright Create and execute automated functional regression integration and endtoend test suites Collaborate with developers business analysts and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies Integrate automated tests into CICD pipelines to support continuous testing Analyze test results identify defects and work closely with development teams for resolution Develop reusable automation utilities and libraries to improve efficiency Participate in requirement reviews sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies Monitor automation execution reports and maintain test metrics Ensure adherence to quality standards coding guidelines and test automation best practices Contribute to performance API and crossbrowser testing initiatives where applicable Required Skills Technical Skills Strong programming experience in Python Handson experience with Playwright automation framework Experience in UI automation for web applications Knowledge of PyTest unittest or similar testing frameworks Experience with REST API testing and validation Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLCSTLC Experience with version control systems such as Git Familiarity with CICD tools such as Azure DevOps Jenkins or GitHub Actions  Experience working with AgileScrum methodologies  Database Tools  Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge  Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA Azure DevOps or similar  Exposure to logging and reporting frameworks  Preferred Skills  Experience with API automation frameworks  Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or GCP  Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker  Experience with performance testing tools  Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber  Educational Qualification  Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field  Key Competencies  Strong analytical and problemsolving skills  Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within crossfunctional teams  Continuous learning mindset and passion for quality engineering
