1. Strong working knowledge of CATIA/UNIGRAPHICS 2. Experience of creating the part drawing & system level drawing 3. Experience in design of components and related knowledge of plastics material, Tooling requirement, manufacturing process, & assembly etc. 4. Knowledge of interfacing components to ensure system level design compatibility 5. Technical project management based on APQP 6. Working knowledge of problem solving techniques & design optimization 7. Should know the regulatory/certification requirements like CMVR, AIS, ECE etc. 8. Benchmarking, cost reduction, DFMEA, DFA 9. Design & Development of Automotive lighting assemblies/subassemblies/ components from concept to production release
