Collected role description

Role Objective To oversee daily warehouse operations at the Kolkata facility, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy, seamless inbound/outbound material dispatches, strict adherence to SLAs, and effective tracking and reduction of non-moving/ageing stock. Role Responsibilities *Inbound & Outbound Operations: Manage material unloading, physical verification, and system GRN creation in WMS/ERP. Ensure timely order picking, packing, and dispatch to customers. *Inventory Control & Audit: Perform regular stock reconciliation, physical cycle counts, and audits to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies. *Ageing Inventory Management: Track slow-moving, non-moving, and high-value inventory. Coordinate with regional leadership to plan dispatches, vendor returns, or liquidation. *Logistics & Documentation: Prepare and verify all operational dispatch documents, including Delivery Challans, Gate Passes, LRs, and e-Way bills. Coordinate daily pickup and deliveries with 3PL partners and transporters. *EHS & Warehouse Standards: Maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards across the warehouse floor. Work Experience *2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and dispatch operations. Knowledge/ Skills *Strong understanding of local logistics, regional dispatch networks, and B2B supply chain practices in the East region. *Hands-on experience with WMS / ERP systems and proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). SAP Education Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Specialization/Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics Management is a plus).
