AM - Sourcing 2.1 Position Overview The Buyers are responsible for the operational execution of procurement transactions through SAP and Ariba, including RFP/RFQ management and costing analysis, ensuring timely and accurate processing that feeds into commercial negotiation and contract finalisation. 2.2 Key Responsibilities Process procurement transactions end-to-end in SAP and Ariba, including PR review, sourcing, PO creation, and order follow-up. Prepare and issue RFPs/RFQs to vendors in line with category and sourcing strategy. Conduct costing analysis and commercial comparison of vendor quotations/bids. Compile bid tabulations and recommendation summaries for review by the Commercial Controller. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master data and pricing records in SAP/Ariba. Track PR-to-PO cycle times and proactively resolve bottlenecks with requisitioners and vendors. Ensure procurement documentation (quotes, comparative statements, approvals) is complete and audit ready. Coordinate with vendors on delivery timelines, order confirmations, and basic commercial queries. Escalate contractual, pricing, or compliance issues beyond buyer authority to the Commercial Controller. Support monthly reporting on open POs, pending RFQs, and sourcing pipeline status.
