Key role-related skills 1) OEM Sourcing & Vendor Development 2) Technical Solutioning 3) Single point accountability Role Objective - We are looking for a Manager - Services who will be responsible for end-to-end execution of industrial services and MRO service delivery for manufacturing customers. The role will focus on sourcing and onboarding capable service vendors, managing vendor performance, coordinating service operations, ensuring SLA/TAT adherence, and driving timely closure of plant maintenance, utility O&M, shutdown, breakdown, repair, installation, and technical manpower requirements. Key Responsibilities Service Operations & Delivery Own execution of service requests across plant maintenance, utility O&M, facility maintenance, industrial services, technical manpower, breakdown support, repairs, installation, AMC, and shutdown jobs. Understand customer plant requirements and convert them into executable service scope, SOW/BOQ, costing, vendor deployment plan, and closure timelines. Coordinate with customer Plant, Maintenance, Utility, Operations, and Purchase teams to ensure smooth execution and timely service closure. Track work orders, service tickets, TAT, SLA adherence, quality of work, customer escalations, and completion documentation. Conduct site visits wherever required to validate job scope, vendor readiness, execution challenges, safety requirements, and customer feedback. Ensure service delivery is aligned to agreed quality, safety, compliance, and commercial expectations. Sourcing, Vendor Management & Commercial Control Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors/contractors for industrial services, plant maintenance, utility O&M, technical staffing, shutdowns, AMC, repair, calibration, installation, and MRO support. Build a reliable service vendor network across North India industrial clusters, with focus on capability, availability, cost competitiveness, and compliance. Negotiate rates, SLAs, payment terms, service scope, manpower deployment terms, and escalation commitments with vendors. Maintain vendor scorecards covering response time, execution quality, safety compliance, documentation, commercial discipline, and customer feedback. Drive vendor consolidation, rate benchmarking, repeatable service catalogues, and cost optimization without compromising delivery quality. Internal Coordination, MIS & Process Excellence Work closely with internal Sales/Account Management, Sourcing, Category, Operations, Logistics, Billing, and Finance teams for complete order-to-service closure. Support account teams with technical/service feasibility, vendor availability, estimated timelines, costing inputs, and execution risks. Prepare and maintain service MIS, vendor dashboards, open issue trackers, closure certificates, billing inputs, and customer escalation reports. Ideal Candidate Profile 5-8 years of experience in sourcing, vendor management, service operations, service delivery, plant maintenance, O&M, industrial services, shutdown execution, or technical manpower deployment. Candidates with experience in O&M, plant maintenance, industrial services, utility/facility services, mining O&M, project services, technical staffing, or certification/training-led service environments will be preferred. Hands-on exposure to vendor development, vendor evaluation, rate negotiation, SLA/TAT management, work order execution, and service closure documentation. Experience coordinating with plant maintenance, utility, operations, purchase/procurement, and vendor/contractor teams. Candidates should be execution and service-delivery oriented rather than pure sales/business development oriented. Knowledge/ Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing plant operations, maintenance workflows, MRO services, utility O&M, shutdown jobs, and service vendor ecosystem. Strong sourcing, vendor onboarding, vendor performance management, negotiation, and cost benchmarking skills. Ability to manage service delivery through multiple vendors while ensuring SLA, quality, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Good documentation discipline: SOW/BOQ, work orders, service reports, closure certificates, billing inputs, and MIS dashboards. Comfortable with plant visits, field coordination, vendor deployment, escalation handling, and cross-functional follow-up. Good communication skills in English and Hindi; ability to engage with plant teams as well as internal business teams. Education B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production, or related engineering discipline preferred.
