Role Objective We are looking for a true techno-commercial individual who is excited to take up new challenges. The role would focus on Value Engineering (VE), strategic procurement, supplier development, and project leadership within plant operations.The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and delivering measurable cost savings through sourcing, localization, supplier development, should-cost analysis, and cross-functional project leadership. Role Responsibilities Identify, execute and conclude cost-saving initiatives across plant operations categories. Drive value engineering levers such as : OEM to OPM conversion, Alternative vendor development, Localization against Import, Should-cost analysis Develop a robust VE opportunity pipeline with quantified savings. Independently manage projects from idea identification to implementation and savings booking. Create and present VE cases to customer stakeholders. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for plant operations categories (MRO, consumables, mechanical, electrical, spares, etc.). Develop and qualify alternate vendors aligned with plant quality standards. Conduct supplier negotiations and drive commercial closures.
