Role Objective : We are looking for a true techno-commercial individual who is excited to take up new challenges. He would be expected to run end to end procurement process for large industrial manufacturing entities in India. The role would include technical understanding of machine spares (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and fabrication items), Supplier discovery and development, techno commercial negotiations and business value creation. Responsibilities l Handle RFQs received from customers by ensuring best rate sourcing l Ensure all RFQs are quoted within time to customers l Discover and develop vendors for MRO spares and capex items l Ensure supplier side contracting in place to serve customer orders with minimum delay. l Conduct auctions and rounds of negotiations with vendors and senior management, ensuring best commercial quotes and captured l Decode material details, asking for clarification in case of missing details or drawings l Maintain supplier base and build expertise in brand, OEM and suppliers through continuous relationship building l Propose efficiency measures such as order consolidation, ARC identification and part substitution l Ensure on-time in-full fulfillment through timely order processing, PO issuance, follow-up on delivery l Assisting sales team to achieve monthly sales target, taking initiatives to grow order conversion in own category . l Growing sales share in the key accounts. l Develop future purchasing plans and potential relationships with vendors. l Ensure orders are placed to relevant supply partners, maintaining quality and pricing standards l Follow up rigorously to ensure orders are fulfilled on time in full by supply partners. l Ensure timely deliveries to Customers with accurate supporting documents. Work Experience l 3+ years of experience in Sourcing, Vendor management, Operations esp. MRO spares l Indirect procurement in B2B, Industrial products or E-commerce space. Young graduates working in sourcing/Vendor management and operations roles.
