Technical Consultant – Linux Platform and virtualization Job Summary: Linux Solution Consultant with 8+ years of overall IT experience , including 3+ years in solution or platform consulting roles , with a strong understanding of VMware, KVM, and other enterprise virtualization platforms. The role requires leadership in solution architecture, platform integration, architecture governance, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to design and support integrated virtualized solutions aligned to business, security, and operational requirements. The focus is on outcome‑driven delivery within regulated enterprise environments. Architecture & Design Implementation  Delivery & Collaboration   Resolve technical dependencies and cross-domain integration challenges  Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders  Demonstrate high accountability and reliability in meeting delivery commitments  Context-switch effectively between technical deep dives, architectural discussions, and stakeholder conversations   Mandatory Technical Skills   KVM virtualization experience  Strong infrastructure and compute background :  Virtualization  Networking  Storage  Security    Strong capability to analyse customer requirements and develop viable technical solution proposals  Strong understanding of Linux /Unix Strong understanding of Storage Strong understanding of Virtualization & Compute Strong understanding of Networking Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting Recommended / Nice-to-Have Skills Mandatory Soft Skills Ideal Candidate Profile hands-on , not slide-only end-to-end high-stakes enterprise environments execution, reliability, and architectural rigor
