Associate Distinguished Engineer (AI Architect, Palantir)

architectural best practices.</li><li>Experience working with both monolithic and microservices-based architectures.</li><li>Proven experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating monolithic systems to microservices architectures.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, Palantir AIP, Ontology, and Workshop.</li><li>Experience architecting and delivering AI-powered enterprise applications using Palantir and related AI platforms.</li><li>Good understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI workflow architectures.</li><li>Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise business applications.</li><li>Experience conducting POCs, technical feasibility studies, architecture spikes, and evaluations of emerging technologies.</li><li>Strong experience with PostgreSQL databases.</li><li>Experience designing data models and database schemas.</li><li>Hands-on experience with schema migrations, query optimization, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and database performance tuning.</li><li>Experience defining data integration and data governance approaches across applications.</li><li>Good understanding of AWS and/or Azure cloud architectures.</li><li>Experience with Docker and Kubernetes-based deployments.</li><li>Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and tools such as Terraform.</li><li>Experience supporting CI/CD implementations using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar tools.</li><li>Understanding of application monitoring, observability, logging, and operational support requirements.</li><li>Experience with enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures.</li><li>Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or similar messaging applications.</li><li>Lead architecture and design discussions across product, engineering, infrastructure, and business teams.</li><li>Architect and develop cloud-native enterprise solutions using Java, Spring Boot, containerization, and modern deployment patterns.</li><li>Design scalable APIs, service contracts, integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and solution guidance to development teams, ensuring implementations align with architectural standards, best practices, and business objectives.</li><li>Lead the design and delivery of major feature enhancements and complex technical initiatives from solution definition through implementation and deployment.</li><li>Act as the technical escalation point for complex architectural and development challenges.</li><li>Conduct design reviews and mentor engineers on architecture, software design, and development best practices.</li><li>Architect and support AI-powered business applications using Palantir Foundry, Palantir AIP, Ontology, Workshop, and other emerging AI frameworks.</li><li>Design and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise applications, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, and AI workflow architectures.</li><li>Lead Proofs of Concept (POCs), innovation initiatives, technical evaluations, and architecture spikes for emerging technologies.</li><li>Evaluate new AI platforms, frameworks, tools, and technologies and recommend suitable solutions based on business and technical requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to define deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, observability, and operational requirements.</li><li>Design and support cloud-native architectures across AWS and/or Azure environments.</li><li>Define scalable and resilient microservices architectures, including service discovery, API gateways, distributed systems, and asynchronous communication patterns.</li><li>Design database architectures and data models using PostgreSQL, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.</li><li>Support database schema design, migrations, query optimization, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.</li><li>Define data integration and governance approaches across enterprise applications.</li><li>Design and implement messaging and event-driven solutions using technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or similar platforms.</li><li>Ensure architecture compliance with enterprise security, governance, regulatory, and operational requirements.</li><li>Support modernization of legacy applications and migration from monolithic to microservices-based architectures.</li><li>Drive technical innovation and experimentation initiatives while maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture standards.</li><li>Provide architectural leadership, technical direction, and decision-making across complex
