Associate Principal Engineer (Qualtrics)

Retail, CPG, and/or e-Commerce businesses is preferred.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Qualtrics is required.</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing teams of approximately 20–25 resources.</li><li>Experience managing a portfolio of approximately $3–5 million.</li><li>Experience supporting the setup, launch, or operational management of a new office or delivery location is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking, and reporting.</li><li>Experience working with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.</li><li>Strong risk management, issue resolution, dependency management, and escalation-handling capabilities.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and global teams.</li><li>Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to build, mentor, and and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.</li><li>Establish project plans, delivery timelines, milestones, dependencies, and governance mechanisms aligned with business objectives.</li><li>Apply project management methodologies and best practices to drive effective planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects.</li><li>Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders to ensure projects meet business goals and client expectations.</li><li>Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.</li><li>Facilitate regular project status meetings and maintain accurate project documentation, action trackers, and delivery reports.</li><li>Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, risks, team performance, and operational priorities.</li><li>Leverage experience with Qualtrics to support relevant project delivery and business initiatives.</li><li>Partner with HR and leadership teams to support talent acquisition and hiring for the new location.</li><li>Support onboarding and integration of new employees and ensure teams are aligned with organizational values, objectives, and performance expectations.</li><li>Build, lead, and mentor a team of approximately 20–25 resources, fostering collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous development.</li><li>Drive effective team utilization, performance management, resource planning, and operational coordination.</li><li>Support the establishment and smooth functioning of the new office location in Shanghai.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for operational, administrative, and setup-related issues affecting the local team.</li><li>Collaborate with HR, IT, facilities, and other support functions to identify and resolve local operational challenges promptly.</li><li>Serve as a liaison between local teams and global stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, project objectives, timelines, and business requirements.</li><li>Manage multiple stakeholders across business, technology, delivery, HR, and leadership functions.</li><li>Oversee a portfolio of approximately $3–5 million, ensuring effective delivery, financial discipline, and operational performance.</li><li>Support financial tracking and reporting for projects and portfolio activities, including budgets, forecasts, and delivery performance.</li><li>Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and business growth within the new location.</li><li>Demonstrate an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented approach when addressing challenges in an evolving business environment.</li><li>Continuously improve project delivery processes, workflows, governance, and operational practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.</li><li>Ensure effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across distributed teams.</li><li>Support office growth, capability development, and scaling initiatives as the location
