Staff Engineer (Dynamics 365 Business Central)

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Experience : 5.5+yrs</li><li>Relevant hands-on experience working with Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central.</li><li>Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central with demonstrated experience in enterprise-wide application implementation, integration, and support.</li><li>Strong expertise in the Finance module of Dynamics NAV/Business Central.</li><li>Good understanding of Supply Chain processes and functionality within Dynamics NAV/Business Central.</li><li>Expert-level client interaction and strong experience working in client-facing consulting roles.</li><li>Strong requirements analysis skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective Business Central configurations and solutions.</li><li>Experience mapping business requirements to standard Business Central functionality and identifying configuration, customization, and integration requirements.</li><li>Experience delivering at least 2 full project lifecycle implementations as a Lead Consultant or Solution Architect.</li><li>Good technical understanding of Dynamics NAV and Business Central, including system setup, configuration, data migration, integration, and development.</li><li>Demonstrated experience working across multiple business environments and designing solutions aligned with different customer objectives.</li><li>Strong business process knowledge and analytical skills.</li><li>Experience working with both onshore and offshore teams and third-party implementation partners.</li><li>Proven experience in global implementation projects.</li><li>Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Excellent spoken and written English skills.</li><li>Self-starter with the ability to take ownership, initiate actions, and follow through on well-defined solutions and implementation plans.</li><li>Ability to understand complex business requirements and propose practical, scalable solutions.</li><li>Willingness to travel to support client projects and implementations.</li><li>Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is desirable.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a functional expert and advocate for Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central applications and technology.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date functional and technical knowledge of the Dynamics NAV and Business Central product portfolio.</li><li>Work directly with clients to understand business objectives, project scope, requirements, and solution expectations.</li><li>Lead requirements gathering sessions and participate in business process analysis and reengineering initiatives.</li><li>Analyse business requirements and map them to standard Dynamics 365 Business Central functionality.</li><li>Identify configuration, customization, integration, and development requirements and translate them into comprehensive functional solutions.</li><li>Design solution frameworks aligned with client business processes and objectives.</li><li>Take ownership of the functional solution and ensure successful implementation across project phases.</li><li>Provide expert guidance across Finance and Supply Chain processes within Dynamics NAV and Business Central.</li><li>Prepare functional specifications, solution documents, process documentation, and other project-related deliverables.</li><li>Support system setup, configuration, data migration, integration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.</li><li>Ensure the latest functional capabilities of Dynamics NAV and Business Central are utilized wherever appropriate to deliver effective client solutions.</li><li>Conduct user training on standard and customized Business Central functionality.</li><li>Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to multiple levels of the organization.</li><li>Work closely with onshore and offshore teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party implementation partners.</li><li>Support global implementation programs and ensure alignment across geographically distributed teams.</li><li>Act as a trusted client-facing consultant and provide recommendations based on business requirements and solution capabilities.</li><li>Support project delivery by initiating actions, following through on defined solutions, and resolving functional issues.</li><li>Travel to client locations as required to support project delivery and implementation activities.</li></ul>
