Senior Staff Engineer (Senior Mendix Developer)

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>More than 8 years of overall software development experience with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Mendix application development.</li><li>Strong expertise in Mendix Studio, Mendix Studio Pro, and Mendix Runtime.</li><li>Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using the Mendix low-code platform.</li><li>Experience developing custom Mendix widgets, modules, and reusable components.</li><li>Strong understanding of software development best practices, coding standards, design principles, and Agile methodologies.</li><li>Hands-on experience with database design, data modeling, and data management concepts.</li><li>Experience integrating Mendix applications with external systems using APIs, web services, and other integration mechanisms.</li><li>Experience working on large-scale applications with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.</li><li>Knowledge of implementing batch retrieval mechanisms and handling large data volumes efficiently.</li><li>Experience improving application performance, data loading processes, and reporting functionalities.</li><li>Exposure to Snowflake and data validation processes is preferred.</li><li>Experience implementing automated testing frameworks and quality assurance practices.</li><li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.</li></ul><p>​​​​​​​<strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, enhance, and maintain business-critical applications using the Mendix low-code development platform.</li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.</li><li>Participate in project planning, effort estimation, technical design discussions, and delivery activities.</li><li>Develop custom widgets, modules, and integrations to extend Mendix platform capabilities.</li><li>Integrate Mendix applications with external systems, databases, and enterprise platforms.</li><li>Implement and optimize batch retrieval processes to support large-scale data processing requirements.</li><li>Enhance application performance by optimizing data retrieval, document processing, and user interface components.</li><li>Improve data load efficiency through implementation of advanced data processing and optimization techniques.</li><li>Optimize Excel export functionality and other data-intensive operations for better performance and user experience.</li><li>Implement automated testing solutions to validate data consistency between Mendix applications and Snowflake datasets.</li><li>Conduct code reviews, peer reviews, and quality checks to ensure adherence to development standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues while ensuring high availability and reliability.</li><li>Stay updated with emerging Mendix features, low-code technologies, and industry best practices.</li><li>Communicate project status, risks, and technical recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.</li><li>Deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines and budget expectations.</li></ul>
