Please enter job description Qualification Purpose of the ROLE: The main role of the R&D Formulation Scientist, Consumer Health Products is to research, develop and optimize product formulations for various brands within Valeant’s Consumer Health Care Products portfolio, ensuring they adhere to Health india requirements for safety, efficacy and quality. The Formulation Scientist will support research feasibility projects by conducting formulation evaluation and analytical characterization of products. Key Responsibilities (in brief): Lead the development of robust, stable and effective formulations (solid oral) to be used for in-house manufacturing and also at 3rd party manufacturers, when provided the mount of medicinal ingredients in the dosage form for new product development. Comply with GMP’s, SOP’s and all regulatory documentation Coordinate formulation and analytical resources as needed, including those provided by production/manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, supply, regulatory affairs. Prepare manufacturing trial documentation for pilot / small production runs and scale-up operations.
