Job Title: Storage & backup Lead Location: Jharsuguda (Office 6 days in a week ) | Experience: 3 - 10 Years Who We Are at STL Digital, we don’t just build software; we engineer digital transformations. We partner with global enterprises with a comprehensive portfolio of services, including Product Engineering, Cloud and Cybersecurity, Data and AI, and Enterprise SaaS. Key Responsibilities: Design enterprise backup architecture using Veeam for hybrid workloads ( VM , containers , DB ) . Define backup policies , retention , replication , and disaster recovery strategy. Lead implementation for Kubernetes / OpenShift backup including etcd , control plane , and workloads . Design backup solutions for KubeVirt VM workloads with snapshot integration . Ensure database backup strategy for MS SQL Always - On and point - in - time recovery . Manage SAN architecture , replication , snapshots , and performance optimization . Drive DR drills , BCP readiness , and recovery SLA adherence . Lead incident management for backup failures and data recovery scenarios . Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 , 22301 , and audit frameworks . Mentor L1 / L2 team and manage vendors (Veeam , storage OEMs ) . Technical Skills : Advanced Veeam architecture & automation Kubernetes / OpenShift backup architecture ( Velero / Veeam Kasten preferred ) Deep SAN expertise ( NetApp , Lenovo ) Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in engineering , IT , or related field . 8 to 12 years of experience in IT operations in a large industrial or manufacturing setup . Proficiency in Virtualization OpenShift , Kubernetes , SAN and container platforms . Understanding of software licensing models and compliance audits . Business Continuity Planning and DC - DR Drilling and Simulation .
