Headquartered in Bengaluru and founded in 1992, our portfolio spans revenue assurance, fraud management, partner ecosystem management, network analytics, and AI-powered platforms like HyperSense.About the Role Join our Core Engineering R&D team as a Technical Architect to own and drive the architecture of Subex's flagship products. You'll lead technical design decisions, set architectural direction, and work closely with product management, engineering leadership, and cross-functional teams to build robust, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions.Key Responsibilities<ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal">Own the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance, secure Java-based enterprise applications</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Translate business and product requirements into end-to-end technical architecture and solution designs</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Define, drive, and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and architectural best practices across engineering teams</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Lead design and code reviews to ensure quality, performance, security, and maintainability</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Evaluate and select frameworks, tools, and technologies aligned to product and platform strategy</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Drive architectural alignment with DevOps and QA for seamless CI/CD, deployment, and testing</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Lead performance tuning, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex production issues</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Mentor and guide senior developers and architects on architectural principles and best practices</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, QA, DevOps, Support) to ensure architectural consistency across the product suite</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Evaluate emerging technologies and drive their adoption where relevant to Subex's platforms </li></ul>Required Skills & Experience<ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal">10–14 years of overall software engineering experience, with deep expertise in Core Java / J2EE</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Proven track record architecting and delivering enterprise-grade, distributed, microservices-based applications at scale</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Strong expertise in Spring/Spring Boot, REST API design, and integration patterns</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Hands-on experience with relational/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Strong working knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ and caching solutions (Redis)</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Proven experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Deep understanding of design patterns, data structures, and system design principles</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Maven/Gradle</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical architectural trade-offs</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Excellent communication and leadership skills, with proven experience mentoring engineers and driving technical alignment across teams</li></ul>Education Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldHow to Apply Send your updated resume to <a href="mailto:divya.yandava@subex.com">divya.yandava@subex.com</a>
