Collected role description

Through technical, commercial & process knowledge on Sheet metal, machining, plastics molding & packaging. Expertise in manufacturing cost, should costing. Expertise on SAP, MS office (Excel, Power point). Experience in driving organizational-level initiatives for overall Delivery performance. Capacity Analysis & material Planning. Lead & effectively manage the Mechanical commodity Procurement at Tejas and achieve Internal and external Customer satisfaction through a timely and continuous supply of material from suppliers at optimized cost with the right quality and on time delivery. The target is to have world-class customer delivery satisfaction. Achieve highest levels of delivery performance for mechanical commodity parts. Effectively manage the P2P process to meet and exceed the customer requirements. Drive and ensure that long term forecast is shared with suppliers to provide enough visibility for them to plan production capacity and materials. Ensure timely release of Purchase orders on suppliers for parts. Ensure that the department level KPIs and parameters are achieved and continually improved Minimizing and systematic handling of supplier grievances by timely addressing and resolving. To establish and manage a highly professional and strategic relationship approach with suppliers for consistent and seamless supply of products and services. Set up Quarterly Business review meeting with suppliers to monitor their performance & KPI’s MIS / Reporting, Communication within SCM team, Service Team, Design & Production teams and also generate Weekly, and Monthly reports on delivery performance vs OPO, Shortages forecast accuracy. Excellent knowledge on Supplier / manufacturers capability & Audits management. Excellent understanding of international quality system requirements (ISO9000/TL9000/ ISO14001ISO45001). Knowledge on Product and technical Standard: ASTM, DIN, CE, UL. Strong leadership skills, Good team work , Strong result orientation. Excellent problem solving skills in a very systematic Way Excellent experience in manufacturing management processes. Excellent knowledge about SAP and data analysis. Experience: Min 15 plus years in manufacturing domain – Electronics / Telecom Networks or EMS companies Education: BE/B.Tech - Mechanical
