Looking for a Mainframe developer with overall understanding on US Healthcare. Primary Skill: COBOL, JCL, DB2 Secondary Skill: SQL Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • 6 to 9 Years of Mainframes hand on experience • Should have work experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, REXX, FTP/SFTP, VSAM (Able to analyze the code, debug and work independently). • Should have knowledge in writing and executing basic SQL queries and resolving L1 batch failures • Work with stakeholders (should have communication skill to articulate things with customers/BA). • Analyze existing code for performance improvements • Good Analytical and problem solving skill and Good team player • Good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills • US Healthcare IT, HIPAA PHI in Mainframe Batch Processing, Basic Provider domain knowledge • Understands PHI sensitivity in mainframe batch data Roles and Responsibilities: • Complex Code analysis and resolving support tickets • Escalates batch failures with business deadline impact immediately • Provide data fix and code fix. • Work on trend analysis to find permanent fixes and finding out optimization techniques • Fixing MF job abends. • Perform research and analysis to identify business problems and ability to breakdown complex business issues to come up with solutions through extensive data and system analysis. Requirements: Must Have: • Good communication & Analytical skills • Good understanding and working experience on the SDLC, Experience in Agile/Scrum practices. • Ability to liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with team. • Should have extensive hands on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, FTP/SFTP, VSAM • Ability to work in 3 pm - 12 AM shift Good to Have: • Exposure to US Clients would be an added advantage.
