Technical Delivery Manager - Pega

<p><b>Role Overview</b></p><p>We are seeking a Advisor / Senior Advisor– Pega Technology who is highly hands-on and deeply engaged in delivery. This role requires a leader who operates at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and execution, actively contributing to solutions while enabling teams to achieve engineering excellence.</p><p>The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end delivery, mentor teams, and ensure high-quality Pega implementations, while staying close to design, code, and problem-solving.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>1. Delivery Leadership</b></p><ul><li>Own and drive end-to-end delivery of Pega-based solutions across programs.</li><li>Act as a hands-on leader, working closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.</li><li>Proactively identify delivery risks and implement mitigation plans.</li></ul><p><b>2. Hands-on Technical Contribution</b></p><ul><li>Provide solution design and architecture guidance for Pega implementations.</li><li>Review and contribute to: </li><li>Application design and workflows</li><li>Mandatory : Integration patterns (REST/SOAP, APIs, messaging)</li><li>Participate in code reviews and performance optimization.</li><li>Troubleshoot critical issues and ensure system stability.</li></ul><p><b>3. Engineering Excellence</b></p><ul><li>Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and governance frameworks.</li><li>Drive clean architecture, reusable components, and scalable solutions.</li><li>Promote automation, CI/CD practices, and DevOps adoption.</li><li>Champion performance tuning and application health monitoring.</li></ul><p><b>4. Team Leadership & Mentorship</b></p><ul><li>Lead and mentor a team of Pega developers, leads, and architects.</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical depth.</li><li>Conduct regular technical reviews and capability-building sessions.</li><li>Guide teams in understanding business requirements and translating them into robust solutions.</li></ul><p><b>5. Stakeholder Management</b></p><ul><li>Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Interface with business, product owners, and leadership to align technology with business goals.</li><li>Communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions effectively.</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>12 to 18 years of overall IT experience with 14+ years in Pega.</li><li>Pega PRPC platform (Case Management, Decisioning, BPM)</li><li>Pega frameworks & guardrails</li><li>Proven experience in leading large-scale Pega delivery programs.</li><li>Hands-on involvement in solution design and development.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Certifications</b></p><ul><li>Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) – Mandatory</li><li>Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) – Optional</li></ul><p><b>Key Skills</b></p><ul><li>Strong architecture and design skills</li><li>Strong knowledge on Pega 8, Pega infinity 24,25</li><li>Deep hands-on development expertise</li><li>Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle production issues</li><li>Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery models</li><li>Knowledge of Cloud migrations.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Pega DevOps</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Better to have Pega GenAI knowledge.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
