Manager - Vendor Management Operations

<p class="MsoNormal">The Vendor Manager Data Financial Insights is a critical role responsible for optimizing vendor relationships through advanced data analysis comprehensive financial oversight and strategic reporting. This role will serve as a primary point of contact for assigned vendors while applying a rigorous analytical approach to evaluate performance drive cost savings and inform strategic decisions. The successful candidate will transform complex vendor data into clear actionable insights and deliver compelling reports and presentations to various stakeholders ensuring vendor alignment with Highmarks financial and operational objectives. </p><p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b>Essential Responsibilities </b></p><p><b></b></p><b></b><ul><li>Lead the collection analysis and interpretation of diverse vendor data sets including performance metrics contractual obligations service level agreements SLAs and operational efficiency. <p></p></li><li>Develop maintain and present robust vendor performance reports and dashboards utilizing data visualization tools to highlight trends identify anomalies and communicate key insights effectively. <p></p></li><li>Create and deliver high impact presentations to internal stakeholders including executive leadership on vendor performance financial health strategic opportunities and risk profiles. <p></p></li><li>Proactively identify patterns and opportunities for improvement or optimization within the vendor ecosystem through data driven investigation. <p></p></li><li>Conduct in depth financial analysis of vendor spend proposals invoices and contracts to identify opportunities for cost savings value optimization and budget adherence. <p></p></li><li>Develop and manage vendor related financial forecasts budgets and cost benefit analyses tracking actual spend against projections and providing variance explanations. <p></p></li><li>Partner with Procurement and Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reconciliation and reporting for all vendor activities. <p></p></li><li>Support vendor negotiations by providing detailed financial modeling and market intelligence.<p></p></li><li>Manage assigned vendor relationships serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries issues and strategic alignment. <p></p></li><li>Monitor and proactively manage vendor performance against established metrics leveraging analytical findings to address any performance gaps or drive continuous improvement. <p></p></li><li>Facilitate strategic communication between vendors and internal stakeholders ensuring datadriven discussions. <p></p></li><li>Assist in the full contract lifecycle for assigned vendors from initial review and negotiation to execution and renewal informed by performance and financial data. <p></p></li><li>Ensure all contracts comply with Highmarks legal and regulatory requirements monitoring compliance through data. <p></p></li><li>Manage contract amendments and modifications evaluating financial and performance impact. <p></p></li><li>Maintain a centralized auditable repository of vendor contracts and related documentation ensuring data integrity. <p></p></li><li>Utilize data and analytical tools to identify and assess potential risks associated with vendor relationships e.g. performance financial stability compliance. <p></p></li><li>Support the implementation of databacked risk mitigation strategies. Monitor vendor compliance with security privacy and regulatory requirements through systematic data review and reporting. <p></p></li><li>Identify and advocate for opportunities to streamline vendor management processes and improve efficiency using analytical findings to justify proposed changes. <p></p></li><li>Support the implementation of best practices for vendor selection onboarding and performance monitoring with a focus on datadriven methodologies. <p></p></li><li> Perform other duties as assigned. <p></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><b>Experiences Required</b></p><p><b></b></p><b></b><ul><li>Minimum 12 – 15 years of relevant experience<p></p></li><li>Proven ability to analyze complex data sets identify trends and derive actionable insights. </li><li>Strong capability in financial analysis budgeting forecasting and developing comprehensive financial reports. <p></p></li><li>Expert level skill in creating clear concise and compelling reports and executive level presentations using data visualization tools. <p></p></li><li>Excellent Communication Written and Verbal for technical and nontechnical audiences. </li><li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint. </li><li>Proficiency with Data Visualization tools e.g. Tableau Power BI. <p></p></li><li>Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation. </li><li>Familiarity with Vendor Management Systems VMS or Procurement systems.</li></ul>
