To know more about us click here.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>Mission of the Role: Accountable for customer and management for the project Key Objectives of this Role: </h4><ul><li>Accountable and responsible to lead project activities to achieve goals and objectives as established during the initiation phase of the project and subsequent changes throughout.</li><li>Main point of contact for the customer and has the decision authority for the project.</li><li>Creating and executing project work plans (Configuration Management Plan) and revisions as appropriate to meet project phase deadlines and changing requirements.</li><li>Managing resources in conjunction with horizontal managers, manufacturing, and others.</li><li>Helping resolve (through experience) day-to-day operational aspects of project scope.</li><li>Effectively managing project risk through mitigation planning by raisin RIO's within enterProj (Program Management tool) and ensuring timely closure of RIO's.</li><li>Supporting Project team in their monitoring and reports of timing, income, expense, and resource management.</li><li>Ensuring less experience team members are utilizing Project Management and VPDS methodology.</li><li>Preparing for Senior Project Leader and Project Board project reviews and quality assurance procedures.</li><li>Ensuring all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately in enterProj.</li><li>Monitor project status (including supplier status) and review CM activities with appropriate stakeholder.</li><li>Chair the Change Control Board (CCB) and manage key activities related to changes and problems at a project level.</li></ul> Key Performance Indicators:<ul><li>Finance for the program</li><li>Plant process readiness</li><li>Issue management status</li></ul> Key Year One Deliverables:<ul><li>Internal milestone report</li><li>Launch readiness review</li><li>Weekly report</li></ul> Qualification, Experience and Skills:Required<ul><li>Project Management or product development experience in automotive industry (more than 3 years)</li><li>Team Leadership/Management, setting cross functional targets, aligning with team stakeholders and driving the team delivery.</li><li>Good skills in Communication (Written and Oral), Leadership, Meeting facilitation, Presentation, Negotiation, Problem solving, Conflict management.</li><li>Business level of Japanese and English</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience working in either JOEMs or tier 1s to JOEMs</li><li>Experience of electronic parts / system development including software</li></ul>Key Behaviors<ul><li>Transparent for customer and management</li><li>Quick finding issue and escalation</li><li>Frugal and efficiency mindset</li></ul>Reporting Structure: This role reports to Chief Program Engineer or Customer lead More Good Reasons to Work for Visteon Focusing on the Future<h4 style="text-align: justify; ">Our company strategy focuses on leading the evolution of automotive digital cockpits and safety solutions.
