In this role, you will be responsible for building robust, scalable automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality delivery of web applications through comprehensive testing strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to drive quality engineering practices and enhance test automation maturity. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium Web Driver and Java Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure maximum test coverage Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions) Perform API automation testing using tools like Rest Assured Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution Ensure automation scripts are reusable, maintainable, and efficient Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices in test automation Manage and maintain test environments and test data Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Selenium Web Driver and Java Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Test NG or JUnit Experience designing automation frameworks (e.g., POM, BDD ) Solid understanding of API testing (RESTful services, JSON) Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions) Proficiency in Git or other version control systems Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Nice to Have Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or intelligent automation solutions Experience with tools like Git Hub Copilot or similar developer productivity tools Advanced API automation expertise Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries, data validation) Experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber or Spec Flow Familiarity with modern testing tools like Playwright or Cypress Knowledge of performance testing concepts/tools Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong team collaboration and stakeholder management abilities Analytical mindset with attention to detail Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field
