✅ Core Technical Skills Strong experience with: HP NonStop platform TACL scripting (OBEY files, commands, job control) Batch processing and scheduling systems Deep understanding of: job dependencies execution flows restart/recovery mechanisms file-based batch workflows ✅ Batch & Operations Expertise Experience managing complex batch operations in enterprise systems Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for batch failures Experience in performance tuning of batch jobs Understanding of operational SLAs and batch windows ✅ Modernization Awareness Exposure to legacy-to-cloud modernization programs Understanding of how batch processes are transformed into: modern workflows event-driven or scheduled cloud jobs Ability to map legacy execution patterns to modern solutions ✅ Data & File Processing Experience with fixed-width file formats, flat files, and batch data processing Understanding of data transformation and validation logic Exposure to SQL and data reconciliation processes ✅ AI & Agile Experience Exposure to AI-assisted tools for code/script analysis and documentation Experience working in Agile delivery models Ability to work in human + AI collaborative environment We are looking for a skilled TACL / Batch Operations SME to support modernization of critical batch processing and operational workflows from legacy HP NonStop systems to Azure/.NET-based platforms. This role is key in ensuring continuity, accuracy, and reliability of batch operations, including job scheduling, execution control, restart mechanisms, and file processing.
