RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties Process accounts payable and receivable transactions Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between budgeted and actual figures Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and industry standards Coordinate with property managers to address financial queries and issues Oversee tenant billing and collections, including rent, utilities, and other charges Monitor and manage property cash flows and funding requirements Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance Experience with property management software, such as Yardi/Buildium/App Folio/Rent Manager Strong understanding of real estate accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience in property accounting or real estate finance Why Should You Join Velan?
