Senior AI Engineer

Job Title: Senior AI Engineer Location: Mumbai | Pune | Bengaluru Experience: 2–4 Years About the Role We are looking for a passionate and innovative Senior AI Engineer to join our growing AI team. You will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and modern machine learning frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, production-ready AI solutions that solve complex business problems. Key Responsibilities · Design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions with a focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). · Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. · Build AI agents and multi-agent workflows using modern orchestration frameworks. · Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize LLMs for domain-specific use cases. · Integrate AI models with enterprise applications and APIs. · Develop scalable backend services to support AI applications. · Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver AI-driven features. · Monitor model performance, latency, accuracy, and cost optimization in production. · Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, NLP, and Machine Learning. Required Skills · 2–4 years of experience in AI/ML or Generative AI development. · Strong proficiency in Python . · Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, etc.). · Experience with LangChain , LangGraph , LlamaIndex , or similar AI orchestration frameworks. · Experience building RAG applications using vector databases. · Hands-on experience with vector databases such as Pinecone , Weaviate , Milvus , ChromaDB , or FAISS . · Strong understanding of prompt engineering and LLM evaluation. · Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow . · Knowledge of REST APIs and backend development. · Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). · Good understanding of software engineering best practices and Git. Preferred Skills · Experience building AI agents or autonomous workflows. · Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol). · Experience with fine-tuning open-source LLMs using LoRA/QLoRA. · Familiarity with Hugging Face ecosystem. · Experience with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps. · Knowledge of NLP, embeddings, semantic search, and vector similarity search. · Experience working in SaaS or enterprise software products. Qualifications · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
