Collected role description

We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant with strong expertise in Workday Integrations and middleware platforms such as Dell Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft, SAP CPI, Informatica Cloud, or similar technologies. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting integrations between Workday and enterprise applications including HRMS, Payroll, Finance, ERP, Identity Management, and third-party systems. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, Workday functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable and secure integration solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using: EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) Core Connectors Studio Integrations Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs) Cloud Connect solutions Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems using middleware platforms such as: Dell Boomi MuleSoft Workato SAP CPI Informatica Cloud Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to gather business requirements and create integration solutions. Configure and troubleshoot inbound and outbound integration interfaces. Build and support data transformation, mapping, and orchestration workflows. Monitor integration performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions. Participate in Workday releases, regression testing, and integration validation activities. Create and maintain technical design documents, integration specifications, and support documentation. Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and privacy standards. Support production incidents and provide timely resolution for integration-related issues. Required Skills Workday Expertise Workday HCM fundamentals Workday Integrations Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST) Calculated Fields Report Writer Workday Security Concepts Middleware & Integration Tools Dell Boomi (preferred) MuleSoft Workato SAP CPI Informatica Cloud API Integrations Technical Skills XML, XSLT JSON Web Services REST/SOAP APIs SFTP Data Mapping & Transformation Integration Troubleshooting Database & Scripting SQL Basic Java or Groovy scripting (preferred) Shell scripting knowledge is an advantage Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Workday Integration Certification is preferred. Preferred Experience Experience integrating Workday with: ADP SAP SuccessFactors Oracle HCM Active Directory/Azure AD ServiceNow ERP and Payroll systems Exposure to global HR processes and employee lifecycle management. Experience working in Agile project environments.
