Summary of the Role We are seeking a skilled Database Developer / Senior Database Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing, managing, and optimizing our databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security of our data assets. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement database solutions that meet business requirements. Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define database structures and architecture. Develop and maintain data models and ETL processes. Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and errors promptly. Create and maintain documentation related to database architecture and processes. Stay updated with emerging database technologies and recommend best practices. Support data migration and integration projects as required. Required Qualifications Must-Have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8-10 years of experience as a Database Developer or Database Engineer. Proficiency in T-SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques. Experience with performance tuning, backup, and recovery strategies. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL tools. Nice-to-Have Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
