Collected role description

We are seeking a Lead Analyst with at least 10 years of experience in systematic literature reviews (SLR), targeted literature reviews (TLR), meta-analysis (MA) and network meta-analysis (NMA). You will own the methodology and delivery of review programs across human, animal and mechanistic evidence streams, and act as the senior scientific point of contact for clients. You will set quality standards, guide AI-assisted review workflows, and lead and mentor a team of analysts while keeping deliverables rigorous, traceable and on schedule for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and public health clients. Own the methodology of SLR and TLR programs, including protocols, research questions, eligibility criteria and search strategies across biomedical and occupational health databases. Lead initial and repeat search phases and comparative analyses of search outputs against human-generated reference sets. Direct screening, data extraction and evidence synthesis, and make final calls on inclusion decisions, conflicts and methodological questions. Lead MA and NMA, and review statistical approaches, heterogeneity and sensitivity analyses. Translate findings into clear scientific narratives for client and scientific audiences. Integrate human, animal and mechanistic evidence for exposure-outcome and hazard identification questions. Oversee validation of AI-assisted screening and extraction against human-reviewed results, define acceptance criteria and quality metrics, and drive workflow and platform improvement recommendations. Select and apply risk of bias and certainty-of-evidence frameworks suited to each evidence stream (for example GRADE, SYRCLE, NTP/OHAT, ROBINS-E, Newcastle-Ottawa). Own deliverable governance: versioned drafts, change summaries, comment-response matrices, and on-time resubmission after client feedback. Review and approve client-ready reports, manuscripts, evidence summaries and presentations, and ensure Word and PDF deliverables are accessible. Plan and manage multiple concurrent projects, including timelines, resourcing, risk escalation and status reporting. Lead recurring client status meetings, prepare pre-meeting overviews, and maintain action and risk trackers. Mentor and review the work of mid-level and senior analysts, and set best practices and SOPs for the team. Stay current with evolving evidence synthesis methods, reporting standards and AI-assisted review practices.
