Data Operations Manager

Job Description Summary The Data Engineer will work alongside the Team Product Owner in a Feature Team managing delivery by leading others. They will operate as co-leader with the Team PO with involvement in decision making and planning of Product roadmap. In some cases, this role will be an Individual Contributor operating at Lab rather than feature team level. Job Description Exp: 15 -20 years Job location :Knowledge Park Work mode: Hybrid Takess responsibility for developing and delivering a key element of the organisation's data management system. Provides input into the development of IT Security policies, develops underlying procedures and monitors their implementation for area of responsibility within the organisation. Analyses and evaluates the feasibility/relevance of proposals for complex products/services, then develops and amends as necessary with guidance from senior colleagues and/or supervises activities performed by a product development/specialist team. Manages and delivers required outcomes for a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues. Identifies and evaluates complex expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs. Sets longer term objectives and takes responsibility for implementing and coordinating performance management systems for a substantial department within the organisation. Manages output delivery for a substantial operational department by leading others. Manages the development and/or operation of knowledge management system with guidance from senior colleagues. Analyses key themes using data from a wide range of sources and identifies possible impacts on the business. Takes responsibility for implementing formal development frameworks for a substantial department, while informally coaching and mentoring others throughout the organisation and investing in own personal development. Initiates, formulates and implements new business practices for own discipline, while managing the development and/or delivery of a significant element of the organisation's change management programme. Builds complex frameworks to fully assess the scope and context of short-term and long-term business needs. Makes a significant improvement on short-term or long-term business performance by recommending authoritative technical and/or professional solutions.
