Cad Admin

Experience required: 2+ years Main Responsibilities  Responsible for implementing and supporting the internal tools and systems environment that supports a forward-thinking product development group using Autospool and other software tools for CAD data and engineering documentation management.  Work closely with engineering teams to implement customized workflows to support engineering data management solutions and process improvements.  Prepares requirements and provide technical expertise in evaluating, integrating, and deploying CAD system solutions.  Logically and efficiently analyze, test, and diagnose PCF files to isolate problems and report if necessary.  Document, report and track identified issues to resolution with / through the Software company  Work as part of a team to share skill sets, lessons, and technical knowledge to maintain a well-rounded detail engineering team. As well as a contributor to technical support documentation.  Strive to become an expert in the tools used by our Engineering teams.  Take ownership of process improvements and drive to successful implementation.  Develop best practices, define standards for data management including system and process documentation.  Configure new projects.  Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.  Self-Motivated - Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his or her own drive or initiative.  Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.  Organized - Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.  Demonstrated competence with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D piping fabrication software. Working knowledge Autospool is preferred.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
