This role requires strong hands-on expertise in silicon bring-up, high-speed peripheral validation, multimedia/video IP validation, and system-level debug. The candidate will lead a small team of engineers while owning the execution and delivery of silicon validation milestones from first silicon through production release.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Own overall silicon validation strategy, planning, execution, and signoff for assigned SoC programs.</li><li>Lead a small team of validation engineers and provide technical mentorship.</li><li>Develop validation plans, coverage models, regression strategies, and execution metrics.</li><li>Drive silicon bring-up and feature validation for ARM-based SoCs.</li><li>Validate high-speed interfaces including PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR, SerDes, and related subsystems.</li><li>Validate multimedia and video IPs including display, video processing, imaging, and codec subsystems.</li><li>Develop and execute validation tests using bare-metal and Linux environments.</li><li>Debug complex issues spanning silicon, RTL, firmware, drivers, and operating systems.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Architecture, Design, Verification, Software, Product Engineering, and Board teams.</li><li>Drive production readiness, issue tracking, risk assessment, and validation signoff activities.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.</li><li>10+ years of industry experience in silicon validation or SoC validation.</li><li>Strong experience with ARM-based SoC architectures.</li><li>Hands-on experience validating high-speed peripheral interfaces.</li><li>Strong experience with video, display, multimedia, or imaging IP validation.</li><li>Solid understanding of RTL architecture and digital design fundamentals.</li><li>Experience developing and debugging embedded software in C.</li><li>Strong Linux development and debug experience.</li><li>Working knowledge of Vivado-based FPGA designs and prototyping environments.</li><li>Experience in scripting and automation using Python, Shell, or similar languages.</li><li>Strong hardware/software debug skills.</li></ul><p> </p><p>#LI-SR4</p></div> <br><strong class="jdheading"></strong><br><br><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><em><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Benefits offered are described: </span></em><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;"><a href="https://www.amd.com/en/corporate/careers/benefits.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">AMD benefits at a glance</a>.</span></span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="color: black; font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><em><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
