As an Engineer, the role will be responsible for technical support for AMD’s embedded products, particularly FPGA and embedded x86 products. In this position, the individual will help AMD drive a new era of embedded computing by engaging with large INDIA end customers to demonstrate how AMD technology can be used to address the needs of their business. The role will provide technical support for AMD’s embedded pipeline with a special focus on pre-sales and development support activity as opportunities transition from opportunity to deployment. Building confidence with key customer influencers and overcoming technical objections will be critical for success in the role. Post-sales technical support is also required as the account encounters technical issues. The role will be expected to handle technical escalations that may occur and accelerate resolutions. The Engineer must have a strong technical knowledge base and skill-set but be equally effective in communication with both customers and internal AMD stakeholders.
