Environment Consultant II

<h2>Overview</h2><p>We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in this role in AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre (GTC); you will collaborate with multidisciplinary technical specialists and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects.</p><h2>Your role</h2><ul><li>Support the preparation and delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), screening/scoping reports, and environmental statements.</li><li>Assist in environmental planning and consenting activities, including evidence gathering, baseline studies, and policy review.</li><li>Prepare technical sections such as Land Use, Socioeconomics, Environmental Management, and Sustainability.</li><li>Conduct desktop research, data analysis, GIS mapping support, and preparation of constraints plans.</li><li>Coordinate with internal disciplines (ecology, transport, utilities, planning, air quality, etc.) to compile environmental inputs.</li><li>Support the development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and environmental mitigation measures.</li><li>Draft high-quality technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables.</li><li>Assist senior consultants in project management tasks—programme tracking, documentation, QA/QC, and reporting.</li><li>Engage with clients and stakeholders professionally when required.</li></ul><h2>About you</h2><ul><li><h2>Postgraduate degree qualified in an environmental or related discipline.</h2></li><li>4+ years' experience in leading and coordinating planning and environmental consenting, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) processes and the implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS).</li><li>Passionate, proactive, and enthusiastic about environmental sustainability.</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and maintain technical excellence.</li><li>Strong analytical and report-writing skills.</li><li>Experience using digital and spatial tools, including ArcGIS, QGIS, Power BI, and spatial modelling platforms.</li></ul><h2>Reward & benefits</h2><h2>This includes:</h2><ul><li><span>Comprehensive life insurance coverage.</span></li><li><span>Premium medical insurance for you and your dependents.</span></li><li><span>Generous annual leave balance.</span></li><li><span>Flexible and hybrid work solutions.</span></li><li><span>Remote work opportunities outside of country.</span></li><li><span>Company gratuity scheme.</span></li><li><span>Discretionary bonus program.</span></li><li><span> Relocation assistance.</span></li><li><span>Employee Wellbeing Program: 24/7 access to specialists in finance, legal matters, family care, personal health, fitness, and nutrition.</span></li><li><span>Seize every opportunity to sharpen your skills, expand your expertise, and be recognized for the impact you make.</span></li></ul><h2>About AtkinsRéalis</h2><p>We're <a href="https://careers.atkinsrealis.com/" target="_blank">AtkinsRéalis</a>, a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization.
