<h3>What we’re looking for: </h3>We are looking for a Qualified professional with min 05 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing in 2wh industry for the Sheet Metal and Fabrication Category.<h3>What you will own and do:</h3><ul><li>Identify and develop reliable suppliers for sheet metal components, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.</li><li>Manage the sourcing process from RFQ through to purchase order placement, ensuring timely procurement.</li><li>Analyze supplier performance and collaborate with the quality team to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.</li><li>Maintain a strong supplier base and develop long-term relationships with key suppliers.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality control teams to address issues related to sourcing, material specifications, and lead times.</li><li>Monitor market trends and raw material prices to ensure cost-effectiveness in sourcing decisions.</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of sheet metal components and ensure compliance with internal production schedules.</li><li>Prepare and maintain relevant documentation including RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.</li><li>Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and risk mitigation in sourcing strategies.</li><li>Stay updated on industry developments, new suppliers, and technological advancements related to sheet metal manufacturing.</li><li>Manage inventory levels and stock replenishment for sheet metal components to prevent production disruptions.</li></ul> <h3>What You Will Bring to us:</h3><ul><li> B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent qualification.</li><li>5–8 years of demonstrated experience in Strategic Sourcing of Automotive 2W components, including 2–4 years of experience with a 2W OEM.</li><li>Strong knowledge of end-to-end manufacturing processes from raw material selection to finished goods for Sheet Metal and Fabrication Parts. .</li><li>Hands-on experience in Zero Based Costing (ZBC) for Sheet Metal Parts.</li><li>Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and materials (e.g., stamping, cutting, welding).</li><li>Experience with supplier negotiation, cost management, and contract administration.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.</li></ul> <h3>We’re not the best fit for you if:</h3><ul><li>You are satisfied with where you are in life and do not want to push to learn/grow further.</li><li>You believe that the best products are built by following your instincts instead of listening to users.</li><li>You are more concerned about short-term payoffs than long-term payoffs.</li><li>You are fundamentally risk averse.</li><li>You like working in an extremely structured environment or being explicitly told what to do at every step.</li></ul> <h3>Perks & Benefits:</h3>At Matter Motors, we are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
