Software Engineer - Java & Kubernetes

We bridge traditional backend software engineering with modern cloud-native deployment and automated workflow pipelines.</p><p style="margin: 0px;" data-path-to-node="4">In this role, you will be exposed to enterprise-scale distributed systems, container orchestration at scale, and end-to-end data pipeline automation. You will use your Java expertise to build robust backend microservices while leveraging Python and Apache Airflow to orchestrate complex scheduled workflows. By deploying and managing these components within Kubernetes, you will ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and smooth deployment cycles.</p><p style="margin: 0px;" data-path-to-node="5"><br />Your work directly controls how our core application logic and automated workflows run in production. By keeping our Kubernetes deployments resilient and our Airflow pipelines performing efficiently, you ensure seamless service uptime, rapid deployment of new features, and reliable data delivery for end users.</p> <br><strong>The day-to-day</strong><br><br><ul><li><p style="margin: 0px;" data-path-to-node="8,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="8,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Feature Integration & Development:</strong> Writing clean, scalable, and well-tested Java code to build and extend core backend microservices.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;" data-path-to-node="8,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="8,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Workflow Orchestration:</strong> Designing, building, and maintaining Apache Airflow DAGs and Python scripts to automate multi-step processing jobs and background tasks.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;" data-path-to-node="8,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="8,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Kubernetes Orchestration:</strong> Writing and updating Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts to manage application pods, service configurations, and scaling strategies.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;" data-path-to-node="8,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="8,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Continuous Deployment:</strong> Automating build, test, and release processes to support zero-downtime continuous deployment to production users.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;" data-path-to-node="8,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="8,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Operations & Monitoring:</strong> Troubleshooting container performance, monitoring cluster health, and resolving production bottlenecks across Java services and Airflow runners.</p></li></ul> <br><strong>What you'll need</strong><br><br><ul><li><p style="margin: 0px;" data-path-to-node="10,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="10,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Experience:</strong> 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;" data-path-to-node="10,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="10,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Core Language:</strong> Strong proficiency in Java and its ecosystem, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;" data-path-to-node="10,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="10,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Orchestration:</strong> Hands-on commercial experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
