Job Description – Data Modeler Role: Data Modeler Experience: 5+ Years Location: Gurgaon Primary Skill: Power BI Secondary Skills: SQL Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler with expertise in Power BI and SQL to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data models that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities · Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models. · Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient data structures and data models. · Develop and optimize data models for Power BI reporting and analytics solutions. · Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and application teams to understand data requirements. · Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across enterprise systems. · Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation. · Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and database objects. · Support data warehousing initiatives including dimensional modeling, star schema, and snowflake schema design. · Conduct impact analysis for changes to existing data structures and systems. · Implement best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization.
