Title Description for Opportunity Join a high-impact networking engineering team focused on next-generation data center networking and SONiC-based switching platforms. This role offers an opportunity to work on advanced forwarding technologies, scalable networking protocols, and ASIC-driven network solutions powering modern enterprise and cloud infrastructure Role Name: SONiC Forwarding Developer Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain networking software components using C, C++, Python, and Go. Collaborate with hardware vendors to implement and optimize ASIC-specific networking features. Develop, enhance, and test data center networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN. Build scalable and reliable forwarding solutions for large-scale network deployments. Optimize software performance and troubleshoot complex networking issues. Work closely with hardware, QA, and networking teams to deliver end-to-end networking solutions. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning activities. Must Have Skills: Strong programming expertise in C and C++ . Deep understanding of IP Forwarding and Networking Concepts . Hands-on experience with ACL and QoS implementations. Experience in L2/L3 Forwarding, Firewall, L2VPN, and L3VPN technologies. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. Good to Have Skills: Experience with ASIC-based forwarding models . Knowledge of Python and Go programming. Exposure to SONiC architecture and open networking ecosystems. Experience with data center networking technologies and cloud networking platforms. Location: Bangalore Experience Range: 10+ Years Qualifications: BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MS in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Certifications: Not Mandatory Eligibility: Strong hands-on experience in C/C++ development. Proven expertise in networking and IP forwarding technologies. Experience working on carrier-grade or data center networking products. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues.
