Core Fibre Design Engineer Experience: 8-12 Years Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi NCR Job Summary Looking for an experienced Core Fibre Design Engineer with expertise in fibre network design, route planning, GIS tools, fibre inventory management, and backbone network infrastructure design. Key Skills Fibre Network Design Fibre Routing & Planning GIS Tools (IQGeo, GCOMS, or equivalent) Feasibility Studies & Design Documentation DWDM/CWDM Network Understanding Capacity & Resilience Planning Fibre Inventory & Records Management Route Optimization OSP Network Design Telecom Infrastructure Planning Responsibilities Design and optimize core fibre network routes. Prepare feasibility reports and build-ready network designs. Perform route planning, capacity assessment, and resilience analysis. Utilize GIS tools for network mapping and geospatial design. Maintain fibre inventory records and design documentation. Support network upgrades, remediation, and transformation projects. Coordinate with planning, transmission, and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
